Vacancy – Sales Executive/Business Development
Industry – Electrical and Lighting Distribution
Location – Wandsworth, SW London
Salary – up to circa £30K negotiable + bonuses
Our client is a a very successful electrical wholesale business. They are recruiting for an experienced Sales Executive to cover Wandsworth and the surrounding South West London area.
The purpose of the role is to develop the customer base in the area by opening new accounts and growing profitable business in line with the commercial objectives of the branch and in a manner which exceeds the expectations of customers.
Duties & Responsibilities
To exceed sales and billing margin targets in order to make profit
To open new accounts and develop these so that the branch broadens the customer base
To keep aware of trends and opportunities in the marketplace – including the activities of competitors
To actively introduce and promote new products to both existing and prospective customers
To promote products and brands that meet the Company’s commercial objectives. For example own brand and selected supplier brands
To manage their territory and portfolio of customers in an efficient manner
Electrical Wholesale background
Previous B2B Sales and Business Development experience
Must be able to demonstrate success in a sales role
Experience of working to KPIs, in a Sales and Margin driven organisation
Deliver on commitments made
Take a proactive role in self-development
Proactive – ability to drive business forward
Disciplined, with a structured business plan
Strives to exceed goals
Ability to quickly prioritise tasks
Makes tough decisions in a timely manner, sometimes with incomplete information and under tight deadlines and pressure
