Vacancy – Internal Sales Negotiator
Location – South London, Croydon, Surrey area
Industry – Lighting and Electrical Distributor
Working Hours – Monday to Friday only (no weekends)
Salary – up to circa £32K + bonuses
Rhodium Consulting are recruiting for an internal telephone sales person for this successful and long established lighting and electrical distributor.
The role will involve working in a small team of people dealing with pricing enquiries, technical queries and orders.
Many customers choose to do business by telephoning the internal sales people who, with a combination of thorough product knowledge and top-class communication skills, are able to develop and satisfy the customers’ requirements quickly and efficiently.
This role is 100% reactive sales calls, responding to customer enquiries coming into the branch.
Responsibilities will include:
Raising Quotations for customer orders
Use of computer system including quotations, enquiries, picking notes, back orders
Ad hoc duties as required
Polished communication skills (written and oral)
Computer literate (inc Microsoft Office)
Enjoys speaking to people on the phone
Coping with pressures and setback

It is essential that you have at least some electrical wholesale industry sales experience with ideally some lighting product knowledge. This could be from an internal sales role or an ambitious trade counter sales person.
You will have a good understanding of the electrical wholesale industry and be able to communicate with a wide variety of people.
