Job Title: Internal Technical Sales Executive

Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Industry: Communications Technology Wholesaler

Salary: up to circa £30,000 per annum depending on experience

Bonuses: bonus scheme after qualifying period.


Our client is a distributor of digital and satellite installation equipment to the trade and an additional person is required to join our team.

We are recruiting for an Internal Technical Sales person ideally with current or recent electrical wholesale experience.

The role will be office based, dealing with customers on the telephone as well as face to face at the trade counter where required, working in a small team of staff.

Telephone work will be a large proportion of the role with the remainder being processing orders and sales administration.


Maximise customer orders by providing technical support and advice to customers
Provide a good level of customer service and build customer relationships.
Grow market share
Help achieve team sales targets given


• Handling incoming calls and opening discussions.
• Serving customers face to face at the trade counter.
• Calling customers to advise on any technical queries that have arisen with products
• Following up customer enquiries.
• Building customer relationships and loyalty.
• Providing quotations and following them up.
• Sales order processing and sales administration.
• Customer Liaison.
• Liaising with accounts, stores and purchasing and other internal departments.


You will have current or recent experience in a technical sales environment such as an electrical wholesale business or similar including electronics and components parts.

Full product training will be provided
